Casey Carr
Casey Carr is a successful entrepreneur, business strategist and turnaround specialist who has connected equity investors and partners with promising ventures and brand-building opportunities. A sports marketer with diverse business development, Sports and financial industry experience, Carr has built an impressive portfolio of soccer-related businesses and relationships, which he leverages on behalf of corporate and individual clients who share his competitive spirit, vision and values. Including a portfolio of soccer / futsal focused companies through First XI Football, a rapidly growing youth training and development company, camps and international trips with ties to European and U.S. professional soccer, team product marketing and a consulting firm.
A former DePaul University and Conference USA All Freshmen Team soccer player with a degree in finance, Carr has worked with youth and professional clubs domestically as a coach, program director, advisor, and board member. As a coach, he has helped develop players for more than 15+ years and has several Olympic Development Program (ODP), Professional and college soccer players active throughout the country. As an advisor for Charlotte United FC (now a part of Charlotte Soccer Academy), Carr secured a relationship with Powerade, which brought numerous product and financial benefits. At the time, Charlotte United FC was one of only 16 clubs in the country to be considered a Premier Powerade Club.
Through his youth club contacts, combined with his previous banking and wealth management relationships, Carr has assisted in organizing, and launching numerous professional clubs in the United States over the past few years, including working as the President of Stumptown Athletic (NISA), an Advisor to Dundee United (Scottish Premier League) ownership, Carolina Core FC (MLS Next Pro), and several others. He has continued to support the ownership group by helping build relationships with local clubs, connecting current coaching staff to local clubs, and advising on effective strategies for engaging the local/regional soccer market and building additional revenue and engagement opportunities.
