Are you a college student or high school senior passionate about sports management and eager to gain real-world experience in the dynamic world of soccer? The Charlottetowne Hops FC Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes with a professional soccer team and gain invaluable insights into the sports industry.

From April through July, join us as we prepare for and execute an exciting NPSL season. Whether you're interested in marketing, analytics, game day operations, or social media, this internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and professional mentorship to kickstart your career in sports management.

What You'll Do: As a Charlottetowne Hops FC intern, you'll work alongside our leadership team on strategic projects while assisting with day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Game Day Operations: Help with setup, logistics, and coordination to ensure a seamless fan experience.

  • Marketing and Promotions: Assist in creating and executing campaigns to engage our fanbase.

  • Social Media & Content Creation: Manage social media accounts, produce engaging content, and tell the story of Charlottetowne Hops FC.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics for ticketing, marketing, and sponsorships.

  • Photography & Videography: Capture the action on and off the field for promotional purposes.

  • Team Shop & Merchandise: Support operations, inventory, and sales for our official team shop.

  • Ticketing & Fan Engagement: Assist with ticket sales, customer service, and fan experience initiatives.

  • Location: Charlottetowne Hops FC Headquarters, Charlotte, NC

  • Application Deadline: March 31st

  • Compensation: Unpaid (academic credit available if applicable)

Eligibility:

We’re looking for motivated, passionate, and hardworking individuals who:

  • Are college students or high school seniors (minimum age: 17).

  • Have an interest in sports management, marketing, business, or related fields.

  • Are available to commit 10-15 hours per week from April through July. Game Day only positions available as well.

  • Have strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Are team players with a positive attitude.
