Celebrating 2024: Building Momentum and Community at Charlottetowne Hops FC

As we step into 2025, we’re filled with gratitude and pride for everything the 2024 season brought to Charlottetowne Hops FC. This past year, our club continued to grow as a cornerstone of soccer in Charlotte, bringing together fans, families, and friends for incredible matchdays at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex in Pineville.

One of our biggest achievements in 2024 was seeing Titus Sandy drafted into Major League Soccer (MLS). Titus, a standout player who honed his skills at Clemson and Charlotte Soccer Academy as a youth, embodies the spirit of Charlottetowne Hops FC—determination, talent, and a love for the beautiful game. His journey follows in the footsteps of Tucker Lepley, who was drafted after our inaugural season and went on to win the MLS Cup this year with the LA Galaxy. Like Titus, Tucker also developed through Charlotte Soccer Academy and played collegiately at UCLA. We’re incredibly proud to play a role in the growth of these young athletes and their paths to the highest levels of soccer.

2024 also saw us continue to deepen our ties with the Charlotte community. Game days at the Sportsplex brought together passionate crowds, filled with fans who share our love for soccer and local craft beer. From lively biergarten atmospheres to community-focused events, each match felt like a celebration of everything that makes Charlotte special.

As we enter 2025, we’re excited to build on this foundation. Whether it’s elevating the game day experience, fostering local talent, or working with our partners to support the community, our commitment remains the same: to make Charlottetowne Hops FC a team that Charlotte is proud to call its own.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to a new year filled with soccer, connection, and unforgettable moments. We’ll see you on the pitch!
